Close to my Heart Convention 2016

I had a great time at convention & was inspired to get back to blogging and seeing what CTMH can do!

I do and I do what she says Beach Tumblers

July is a great month to take a look and start seeing what supplies you'll need for working on projects for the beginning of the holiday season. And, of course, summer is a great time for cricut crafts!

Baldwin Beach Bash Tumblers

I got these tumblers at the Dollar Store near us and cut out the sayings ("I Do" and "I Do What She Says") and applied to the tumblers. I made a bunch for my family, each personalized with their names. Since we were on vacation, I didn't want anyone to feel like they had to do a bunch of dishes, so each person was in charge of their own tumbler, plus this was less wasteful than using a single use cup and trashing it.

I was surprised how much people like them, and I had expected that they would be thrown away at the end, since most people were going back via airplane, but everyone ended up tucking them into suitcases.

Since I'm a new-ish consultant, and I learned so much at the convention, I figured that this year we could "Bling" up our basic skills together and start learning & doing some basic stamping techniques that I learned!

CTMH July SotM

Also, CTMH's July stamp of the month is perfect for planners & doing the basics of journaling & scrapbooking.

The stamp of the month is offered thru the CTMH website and is typically $17.95, or if you spend $50 in product, you have the opportunity to purchase it as an add-on for only $5. The red lines around some of the stamps means that it is compatible with a cricut cartridge.

Make sure to check out my planner pages for this month and you'll probably see some of the stamps in there!

Thanks for stopping by & if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask! Thanks! Barb.
