I really love how quick and easy it is to make this cute Birthday card with cake day papers. There’s really a minimal amount of stamping and it was a fun way to use some thin cuts in a new and different way.
First stamp a cake on White Daisy using Wild Berry ink pad. I used the top part of the cake from the recent Chantilly special stamps, however, since that was a special stamp it might not be still available. A great substitute is the cake stamp from the Cake Day Workshop kit. Fill in the candle flame with Bisque yellow liquid pearls and set aside to dry.
Use heart background thin cut and cut out a 8-1/2” x 3-1/2” (TIP: keep the punchec out white hearts for another project or a shaker element.) Cut out three Lemonade squares using the small frames included in the triple square thin cuts. Fussy cut out the interior of the Lemonade squares on two creating a frame. Trim down the heart background to fit behind two of the frames.
Cut out the slimline triple square card front using the dots paper from the Cake Day paper packet. Trim down three pieces of Wild Berry cardstock to “x” and adhere to card base behind the slimline triple square card fronts. Attach the heart cutouts to the two outside rectangles and glue the Lemonade frames down on top of the heart backgrounds to cover up the edges.
Attach the remaining Lemonade rectangle to the center spot. Use 3-D dots to attach White Daisy stamped cake to center spot. Embellish with Cake Day Enamel Dots.
