Check out this fun card that's part of my PSL season of cards! My husband loves pumpkin pie, so this card already has a recipient!
The Pumpkin Spice stamp set has a bunch of different sentiments, and I love that they can go together in different ways - like this card looks like it's a little more masculine and grown up - but some of the cards I've made with this set have looked cutesy and fun. I find it really interesting that the same set can have both sides to it!
Once again, this card is super easy to put together! I stamped the sentiment using the new Papaya ink, which is quickly becoming a fast favorite color of mine. On the end of the dovetail, I stamped across the end with the cross-hatch border stamp in Harbour ink. Then I dovetailed the end of the card.
The grey plaid paper and the pumpkin paper is from the Pumpkin Spice paper pack, and I adhered those slightly from the top of the card and stuck in a little 1/4" strip of Harbour cardstock inbetween the two as a little divider line.
For a last touch, I then I attached a couple of the sticker embellishments from the Pumpkin Spice sticker set. Of course, the pie! I used a 3-D foam dot to pop that up above and I used my embossing buddy to powder up the back of the sticker so it wasn't sticky anymore. And the "Hey, cutie pie" strip just goes along with it, that it was a no brainer to use that sticker on the card as well.
Embellish as you desire - here's a list of the products used, please do reach out and let me know if you have any questions! Thanks & stay crafty!
