Sticker Sneeze Scrapbooking Hack

I love finding a hack that uses up scraps and works great! A fellow CTMH consultant recommended trying what she called a "sticker sneeze" with a CTMH sticker sheet.

CTMH paper packs can come either with or without the sticker sheet, it's slightly less expensive without the stickers, but I usually get the stickers just in case inspiration strikes.

However, that means that I now have a metric bucketfull of partially used stickers. One of my resolutions this year is to use the stuff up. Why am I keeping the stickers and scraps? I know that sometimes I love the patterns or papers so I keep those, but then I feel too precious about using them. So I'm determined to use them up!

So I found out about this hack at the perfect time! So while I had a little time on my Mardi Gras break, I found a couple of mostly used up paper packs, where it had most of the stickers left and just a few papers and pieces left over.

Start by finding the coordinating paper colors on the zip strip of any of the pieces that are left over. The sample pack from the video was snow based, however, down south we don't get much snow, so I used alot of the papers for other Christmas papercrafting, cards and memory-keeping. So for the sample I used two pieces of Peach cardstock as my page bases. I marked the stickers at 4" and moved the affected stickers to the All Purpose crafting mat. I sliced up the sticker sheets and attached them to the far side of the peach cardstock.

I then used 3-D foam tape to pop up some of the stickers and stuck the rest down. Anything that was going to overlap a photo spot, I put some of the sticker release paper down, since I wasn't sure about what photo to put in there just yet.

I cut two film strips using the In Full Bloom cardmaking kit dies and cut the vellum paper at 5-1/2" since those dies are that width. I used paper scraps to create photo frames, and for journaling, I'll put it on a tag that I'll create in the future when I find photos to go along with this cute layout!

I can't wait to see your version of the same hack - make sure you show me how you made yours & stay crafty!

I love this hack for using up the last few paper scraps, and stickers from a Close to my Heart CTMH scrapbooking paper pack!
