Stripes are GourdEous

For the final card in the #PSL card series, this one is a great idea for stash-busting! Which is why it's perfect that it's last in the series.

This card is made using the Pumpkin Spice paper pack from CTMH, but the genius of the card is that it is perfect for using up all those bits and pieces.

I made this card after a long session of scrapbooking and cardmaking, so I had a few pieces left. Being thrifty, I didn't want to throw anything.... so I put them all together on this card!

First I cut a bunch of scraps so that they were 4-1/4" wide, and then I cut a few of the extra zip-strips the same width. Then I tried different strips together and then I moved them around.

I stamped my French Vanilla card base at the top and the bottom using a border stamp with the Papaya ink to create a visual start and end point. Then I layered my strips, giving them a little room between each strip. If one didn't work, I'd trim it down - a variety of different sizes really works.

After that, I stamped the sentiment using the new Harbour blue/green/grey ink and the gourd in Papaya. Then I attached the stamped White Daisy set to a Papaya cardstock frame.

I used 3-D foam tape to pop up the sentiment box, and I centered it in the page, but I had to move the box up a little bit because it looked a little better straddling the various stripes.

Embellish as you desire - I didn't really do anything to embellish my version, but I was loving how it came out, so I didn't want to add anything that might take away from the clean lines.

Here's a list of the products used, please do reach out and let me know if you have any questions! Thanks & stay crafty!
