Guest Artist Series - Hallelujah Card

I love hearing the Hallelujah Chorus in December, it really makes me think that the Christmas season is really starting! I ran across this video, and you totally need to check it out, it's a silent high school boy's choir "singing" the song. It's really cute!

Jen's card makes me think of choir concerts and the Christmas season - I remember my grandfather reading us the passage in Luke and singing Christmas songs when we were around for the holiday. I like how Jen cut out the sentiment and popped it out to give it a little emphasis, and I'm totally in love with using stripes of the silver foil. I have a bunch of scraps, and this seems like a really great way to use them up. Sometimes it's harder to go with a clean layout, since I love to embellish, embellish, sticker things up, but that means that when it's a nice card like this, everything stands out as being crisp & clean.

I recently participated in a card swap with some very talented Close to My Heart consultants, and I was blown away by the creativity that they displayed! I wanted to share some of their art and give some inspiration and a head start on how they created some of the art. I know that the end of the year gets full of different holiday crafts, but they are truly worth a look and I hope that they serve as some inspiration for your day!

Since there are so many beautiful cards, I thought that I'd try and post as many as possible throughout the month. So keep checking back to see more! I've included links to where you can find the stamps and supplies that were used to create some of the cards if you want to create them on your own, or consider contacting me to attend a "Card Buffet" - a short workshop where you can, for a small fee, pick and choose as many or as few cards you would like to create.
